This show makes me so happy. Reading American Girl and Dear America books helped shape me into the woman and historian I am, and I love listening to the AG books being discussed with an eye toward context, cultural history, and nostalgia (and Ashanti). Mary and Allison are so lovely to listen to, and I have been sharing this podcast with my cohort members and friends. Please go listen, you will love it to bits.
