This podcast is very my Ish.
I am one of the Girls thy reference in the Pleasant Company historical doll trajectory. I also pursued a PhD in history largely because of my internalized love of history from the AG books. The two hosts break down the plots and implications of the books in really fascinating ways. Finally, they are so dryly funny that I love them a little more every episode. The only thing that makes me sad is that I didn’t think of creating this podcast myself.

Mary and Allison are so lovely to listen to,...Read full review »
