Gold mine
I found these podcasts a couple of months ago and have been binge listening since. I am liking the presentation of how the Revolution transpired almost in a day to day approach. I also appreciate the non -political, fact-based style. Too many commentaries super impose 21st century thinking to what our Founding Generation accomplished, either glorifying or disdaining them. I like the measured approach of presenting what’s known and letting the listener conclude-if and when that is necessary. Clearly these podcasts take a fair amount of time and preparation. I am appreciative of that!

I’ve read much on the American Revolution so I’m pleasantly surprised to find that Michael unearths so many obscure yet interesting events and characters of the Revolution that I’m unfamiliar with. For that I’ll forgive the frequent, often humorous mispronunciations.
