“This podcast has great background and cultural details for context leading up to the Revolution. I appreciate the objective and legal research approach to our history, especially as the author examines the complex and compounding affects of trade, land disputes, and the sense of fundamental rights evolving in the American colonies. I also appreciate that issues and events effecting First Nation peoples and slavery are not brushed over as minor details. Our imperfect Founding Fathers are on full display, warts and all, without detracting from their great contributions to our nation.
My one wee-tiny-minor critique is the continual mis-pronunciation of words (like Jacobite and Viscount for example) is distracting.
Great story telling overall!”
