Overdramatized
This podcast has a lot of potential but falls prey to the same mistake of so many television shows dealing with similar content. Namely, assuming all of its listeners/viewers want overdramatic retellings of the story by out of work actors desperate for a gig. If the story is good enough it doesn’t need poorly conceived and badly delivered voice work, just a quality narrator. If the story isn’t good enough it doesn’t need to be told. Had high hopes, they were cruelty dashed.

This show is very interesting and a great concept, I’m excited for the rest of the season. The verbal reenactments are extremely cheesy and unrealistic, i wish they would cut them out, really cringey. The core content is very well produced though!
