“As a true crime fan myself, I was hooked on American Skyjacker from episode 1. Martin McNally is a compelling guy on his own but the best part was how the podcast dissected what made him interesting and focused the episodes around the really important parts. Any concerns I had about the podcast as it shifted to incorporate additional characters was quickly eliminated once I learned more about Garrett Trapnell.
But I loved that the podcast never strayed too far from McNally, a flawed but ultimately lovable protagonist, who provides plenty of entertainment as he explains (and embellishes) his life’s accomplishments.

“Wow! What a ridiculous story. Be patient and you’ll be all in by episode two. But don’t give up right when it looks like the protagonist is about to change. Just go with it. This is a wild ride, so buckle up, sit back, relax, stay calm, and no one gets hurt! Well, kind of...you’ll see.”
