“As a true crime fan myself, I was hooked on American Skyjacker from episode 1. Martin McNally is a compelling guy on his own but the best part was how the podcast dissected what made him interesting and focused the episodes around the really important parts. Any concerns I had about the podcast as it shifted to incorporate additional characters was quickly eliminated once I learned more about Garrett Trapnell.
But I loved that the podcast never strayed too far from McNally, a flawed but ultimately lovable protagonist, who provides plenty of entertainment as he explains (and embellishes) his life’s accomplishments.
