Uneven
Dahlia Lithwick needs the podcast equivalent of an editor, or a new one if she already has one. The episodes are all about 7-10 minutes too long. The “Jerusalem Born” episode was particularly boring, with the same points being made over and over and over and over about a case that isn’t very interesting in the end, with Lithwick then following up with a dreadful segment that repeated some very lame jokes made by some of the justices. So far a rocky start. Lithwick needs to ask herself this question: Is this podcast going to be for legal nerds who like hearing Anthony Kennedy pretend he is funny, or is this going to be a substantive podcast for a more general audience?

Love the new podcast. Dalia is smart, a great interviewer, and very entertaining. My only request is more clips of oral arguments.

Listen and learn, people. It’s a no-brainer! She’s brilliant, so you can’t go wrong.
