Uneven
Dahlia Lithwick needs the podcast equivalent of an editor, or a new one if she already has one. The episodes are all about 7-10 minutes too long. The “Jerusalem Born” episode was particularly boring, with the same points being made over and over and over and over about a case that isn’t very interesting in the end, with Lithwick then following up with a dreadful segment that repeated some very lame jokes made by some of the justices. So far a rocky start. Lithwick needs to ask herself this question: Is this podcast going to be for legal nerds who like hearing Anthony Kennedy pretend he is funny, or is this going to be a substantive podcast for a more general audience?

However, the show just doesn't seem to go deep enough, or to offer enough opposing viewpoints. 45...Read full review »

I'm an amateur scotus watcher but this was truly the best, most thorough, most interesting podcast I've listened to in quite a while. Keep it up!Read full review »
