“It cracks me up that Apple selected this as one of their "Noteworthy" (or whatever it was) tech podcasts of the year, when at least a third of the time is spent on guitar stuff and not tech stuff. But duh, the name says it all; these guys clearly wanted to carve out some time to nerd out about pedals and whatnot. Since my guitar skills peaked in 8th grade, I can't really get into that part, but Jim's strong opinions and infectious laughter are enough to win me over as a subscriber. This is one of the few 5by5 shows where I'm OK with missing an episode, because the topics are usually current tech news, rumors, etc. Dan and Jim are delightful together and I hope they keep rocking on, Apple nerd style.”
