“I thought this podcast was OK at first, it sort of filled the void of Hypercritical leaving 5by5. But it's just become so predictable and boring. Jim Dalrymple doesn't offer anything more than the most shallow analysis, if any, of the issues.
Dan Benjamin is trying his best to prod some kind of meaningful response out of Jim, but unfortunately gets nothing. Jim just laughs at Apple's competitors, and praises anything Apple. I'm a huge Apple fan, but I find this annoying. It needs way more depth.
It's similar for guitar enthusiasts - if you're seriously into guitars and music, you'd soon outgrow the same basic topics that Jim covers every episode.”
