“I’ve been a big fan of Amy ever since she would get roped into conversations with Imus while waiting for her show to come on the air on MSNBC many years ago. She had the best personality and her laugh was as natural as she was. Years later, cut to her successful run as the news anchor for GMA and she was every bit as down to earth and affable as she had been back then. She tackled serious subjects as well as her own health journey with professionalism and sincerity. It was def fun to watch her and TJ on GMA bc they had such an easy rapport and their positivity was contagious. I HATED when they were dropped from GMA and resented the new position of the powers that be to become the morality police - in this day and age of all things. I was offended that they should be denied their right to work bc of the direction their PERSONAL lives had taken. And now listening to their story, I feel it’s even more of an injustice to them for them to have gotten fired. They will be fine and after this podcast someone will be smart enough to invest in their abilities and personalities again. And I got lucky bc I discovered CBS Mornings when I refused to watch GMA after they betrayed Amy and T J and their content, terrific anchors and excellent rapport put GMA’s show to shame. Today’s new podcast started out with a bang and I look forward to all of their upcoming conversations. Welcome back, Amy and TJ. You have been missed!”
