“I’m glad you are telling your story of Love and growth so like you both to be doing what you know best sharing your journey.
So Far So Good we all miss you both doing your excellent engaging reporting.
Both of you are very charismatic and it’s perfect timing waiting to tell your side of the Love story you have. I felt overwhelmed when the news came on the air regarding your situation all I could think of was losing my 2 favorite reporters who did the best job ever and made us all feel engaged. I kept waiting to hear what ABC was doing about the situation i we had no idea that there was a investigation into your relationship and there was no support from ABC to keep us informed or a report from you two on your own in support of yourselves.
This is horrible and very disturbing how it was handled it was a news story that had its own life with no word from either of you. I’m sorry this happened and I wrote to ABC several times expressing my feelings of loss and they never did anything or responded not on the air or in any way other then saying you both already had left your spouses to support the fact that it wasn’t going on during the time of your commitments. Which I thought was great letting us know that this was clearly something that was after the fact. I must say your chemistry on air was so beautiful and I loved that it made all of us feel so much a part of your show. I’m sorry again that this had to be a very challenging time instead of a time to enjoy your newfound love. I’m so proud of you both for having the strength and endurance to get through this and I hope that you continue to grow as a couple and that you both get job offers to come back to what you love and do the best as I can say I never was this much engaged to reporters as I was to Walter Cronkite or Oprah and Merv Griffin. Who I watched religiously when I wasn’t working.
Keep up the good work and look forward to seeing you both back on TV. There is a God and he can make things happen beyond our wildest dreams. I never agreed to what ABC did to the both of you and to us your viewers. My mom told me when I was young people will put you down but that doesn’t mean it’s true and you just keep shining your light in spite of what people try to make you feel which is less then.
Love you both keep your heads up and know that we DO LOVE YOU! We need more of both you can’t get enough and glad we can communicate with you.
