Soothing, Engaging, Lovely
Brian, whose voice is actually so soothing and reassuring like your father telling proud stories of your and your siblings’ childhoods, is a wonderful story teller. This has the vibe of a well produced and written NPR history piece without being stuffy - down to earth but no chattering to ffwd through. Already a fan of the TV show The Office and the podcast The Office Ladies, I was hesitant to start another Office related show, but my love for Brian’s portrayal of Kevin and my need for an escape had me pushing play today. To my surprise, I was hooked immediately. I love the insight into the world of producing a ground breaking show and walking the delicate balance of honoring the original while tailoring to and attempting to expand the then current sense of comedy in the US. I LOVE THIS PODCAST. I hope Brian doesn’t reach the end too soon. It was exactly what I needed for a relaxing distraction. I’ve learned about a world previously hidden and found applications beyond - to my own attempts to push boundaries and break ground in my field. Do not miss this gem. You 👏 are 👏 welcome!
