Dr. Phil at it again! Always sensationalizing issues for his own gain!
Those willing to give 5-star reviews are obviously mindless fans of his tv show that don’t care for true psychology or science... he is constantly dramatizing other people’s stories in order to get ratings and now he’s made a bad name for crime podcasts by trying to mainstream the medium. For the love of crime I decided to give it a try but I can’t stand his voice and overdramatic rendition of a truly horrific murder story.. 10 minutes in and I’ve always vowed to never waste my time listening again! Way to over-exploit just to get your ratings up... stick to daytime television!

More reviews of Mystery and Murder
Are you at all concerned about your credibility? You seem to be relishing in the sensational details and even imagine what a dying person is saying. Tone it down.

Meh
The story of Gypsy Rose is absolutely captivating, but I couldn’t even make it 10 minutes into this podcast. It’s way too verbose and hyperbolic, but that’s Dr. Phil I suppose.

Bad script, too long to get to any actual analysis and he keeps repeating his qualifications to make judgements over and over and over.
