“I never write reviews and I’m typically a huge fan of true crime podcasts, but I’m only ten minutes in and I’m turning this off. This narration is cringeworthy in that it delights and glamorizes this woman’s murder. If I were a friend or family I would be absolutely livid to hear my loved ones murder described with such over the top, gleeful, salacious narration. Bye, Dr. Phil, you’re making the loss of someone’s life sound like a something to feast over.
I saw all of this as a huge fan of the show The Act, so I know this story and had been looking forward to a real analysis. Not this.”
