The story of Gypsy Rose Blanchard is one of unbelievable abuse and deception. If ever there were mitigating circumstances for a crime, this one has it. Would we penalize a concentration camp prisoner for killing a Nazi guard to escape? I cannot say that there should be no penalty but this young lady was in prison for 20 years before she ever committed a crime.
Overall, a good start, but you need to be less dramatic, Dr. Phil. Take it from someone who has been a podcaster and a family member of a murder victim: the dramatizing cheapens the event.”
