“This podcast is entertaining, informative, and an important contribution to the history of fly fishing. I know that sounds like a dubious claim but I appreciate what April is doing to document, record, and archive some of the living legends in the sport. I’m very impressed with her commitment to travel to her subjects homes or workshops to conduct these interviews in person and not over the phone. This makes the podcast so much better than it would be if she took the easy way out by calling or video chatting. As great as these podcasts are today, I think that they will be even better in 20 or 30 years because they are, for all intents and purposes, an oral history of the sport and the people.”
