Miss the mark
Good podcast to listen to. Nice conversations and stories. Interviewees are top notch and their life stories are even more fascinating. The technical qualities of the podcasts are also very good. I felt that April missed the mark on the “Pro Hatcheries” podcast. I am not pro hatchery, but, i was expecting an unbiased view point from the host. May be that is a misplaced expectation. I wanted to hear the pro hatchery side of the story. Instead what I was presented with were a interrogation style questioning of an interviewee. Felt like April was more interested in proving her point rather than getting the story out. If you listen to her interviews with like minded people, like Simon, Hazels, or Lani, you get a bouquet of pleasantry and a true effort to bring their stories to the conversation. Instead, the “pro hatchery” podcast was more pointed towards proving someone wrong. I understand it but do not agree with the style. Also, it is a deviation from the rest of the podcasts. Hope this can serve as a constructive criticism.

I listen to a lot of podcasts, most fishing related, and your podcast with George Cook is the most entertaining and informative episode I’ve heard. Cook’s one-liners and Georgisms are hilarious. Thanks April and Woolridge Boats!
