It used to be good
I am a Gen Xer . So just putting that out there from the get go. Been listening to Em and Christine for years now. I don’t know if it is that the show has changed or I have changed and find myself pretty much over it now. I constantly find myself skipping ahead because 40 minutes of banter about their lives is sometimes too much! The constant complaints about their many health issues and all the meds they are on now it’s crazy! Oftentimes they seem neurotic. They’re too young for that in my opinion. Em is charming though but Ill prepared for most of their topics. Plus I can’t stand when Em is trying to tell their paranormal or spooky stories and Christine keeps making bad jokes about anything they say. Makes the paranormal sound like a joke to them. Meh. Christine’s topics are always well thought out and researched and that makes the show bearable. Unfortunately (or fortunately) I find myself either changing to another podcast or skipping ahead until is Christine’s turn. Good thing she doesn’t laugh anymore when telling a horrific story, as that was off putting.
