Guess I’m less than since I’m not queer.
Well, I used to like this podcast, but apparently I’m nothing since I’m only an ally. See, as a straight woman, I was just informed by Em that LGBTQ+ is the winning team, and so I’m garbage. It’s not the first time this show has taken this kind of position, but it’s the first time it’s been made so abundantly clear. Now, I can hear Em saying “listen, it was only a joke…” Was it? Probably. But these kinds of sentiments are expressed a fair amount. And after a while, the lister goes “huh…you wouldn’t keep making that joke, if you didn’t really think less of me.” I want nothing more than for EVERYONE in this world to be able to be whoever they are. I think it’s so fantastic when someone knows who they are, and they can proudly be that person. I can’t keep listening to a podcast that has - for awhile now - made me feel less-than just because I’m straight. Just the way you want people to accept you for who you are, I wish you wouldn’t continuously beat up on straight allies. It hurts. I can’t take it anymore. I can’t listen to a podcast that makes me cry just because I’m different than you.

Super interesting and funny! If you like the paranormal, then you're gonna like this. The tone is also great - casual and real. Pairs well with affordable booze and quarter-century angst. 👻🥃🍷Read full review »
