Colleen breaks new ground!
I have followed Colleen Patrick-Goudreau's work for years! (About 8 to be exact). She was instrumental in my making an informed choice to go vegan. I listen to many podcasts, but her work has always been distinct. This podcast is devoted to her unique work exploring the origins of language and how our relationship with animals is (and long has been) reflected in that language -- often without our knowing it. It may seem like a fringe issue, but I find myself often having conversations with non-vegans and this issue always comes up. It's a fascinating way to get people to have conversations they might not otherwise have about animals. To learn more about those animals and their history. To learn about the ways we have used or exploited animals. I'm so grateful this is finally it's own podcast, and I can't wait to start bing listening to these episodes (as I do with all Colleen's work!) Thanks, Colleen!!! :D
