One of my favorite podcasts!
Dillon’s podcast has completely changed how I view reptile ownership. His discussions on enrichment and the overall ethics of reptile keeping have me so excited for the day that I can keep reptiles again and do everything I can to replicate nature. Before listening to this podcast I thought that rack systems were the ultimate goal. After all, who wouldn’t want to see as many different species as possible? It only took me a couple episodes to have a completely radical shift in my views on that and now I’m just excited to think about what species I really want to deep dive into and provide with the absolute best environment that I can. Along with promoting exceptional and ever improving care for reptiles, he also dives into other animals as well as tying the hobby to conservation and showing the importance of all of that. If you love animals of any kind (but especially reptiles) I think you’ll have a very hard time turning this podcast off and will also be filled with a desire to improve your care in any way possible. Cant recommend this enough!

This podcast is a lovely marriage of reptile hobbyists and scientists. I appreciate the discussions on reptile ethics, the enthusiasm for animals, and the appreciation for understanding the science of animal welfare.
