“I’ve only been listening for a few months, but this is one of my favorite podcasts. I’m loving the discussions about souls and how people are after being turned/the whole vampire lore. It’s fascinating. I’m with you guys on the take that maybe your personality truly comes out after being turned. Maybe it lowers inhibitions in an extreme way? I wish the show went more in depth with it, but the discussions are still fun.
Oh and the recent episode where Angel so dramatically thinks he’s about to lose his soul- you know the one- I don’t think the show was going for a fake out to the audience necessarily, I think Angel got dramatic in that last scene because he wanted to lose his soul so badly and was basically recreating what happened with Buffy. Kind of attempting to will that into existence. Just a thought after listing to that episode. Anywho, I love the podcast and look forward to new episodes.”
