D. L. Moody, though poorly educated by the standard of the day, yet he was an extraordinarily clever man, as we will learn in part 11, covering chapters 34-37 of the Life of D. L. Moody Chapter 34, shared with us Moody's Capacity for work. He required little rest as he went from meeting to meeting. Preaching, talking one on one with people, and preparing for further missions. But we do in this chapter, that all of this labor was taking its toll on Moody's heart. Following a grave warning about his health, in Chapter 35, Moody received a terrible shock, when sailing from Southampton, back to America, the shaft broke on the steamer and for a few days, all seemed hopeless. The World's Fair of 1893, was held in Chicago, and the planning and execution of plans to share the Gospel with people from around the world, is the theme of Chapter 36. In Chapter 37, we learn of Moody's cleverness, as he strives to reach the world with the Gospel, he finds the press will share his sermons in their papers.
