The sixth episode of Season One of Antediluvian Revelations is not poetry the same as the previous four podcasts because it is a discussion and explanation of the poetry that will help readers and listeners to better understand the poem and its content. As the series progresses in two more seasons, episodes will follow a similar pattern with episodes of poetry followed by a summary discussion episode. Listeners who prefer to listen to the poetry only may skip over these intellectually heavy episodes, but it is recommended that these discussions receive serious consideration. There will be information within these discussions that does not appear in the poetry, and this information will provide greater explanations of the meaning within the poetry.Epic poetry was originally an oral tradition, and the poetry was memorized, rehearsed, and spoken aloud to an audience or family members for the purpose of perpetuating knowledge about some events that were significant to those early humans who had not yet developed a lasting means of written communication. In fact, the epic story of Enoch was most likely memorized by Noah and passed down through several generations until being written.
