John Nye discusses the sale of an unassuming artwork, discovered in a New Jersey basement, and sold at auction as a 19th-Century "Continental School" painting. The oil on panel was valued at $500-$800 but wound up hammering for $870,000 to a phone bidder with knowledge the painting is possibly a long lost work by the Dutch Master Rembrandt.
