Thank you Maria for your work and dedication to this project, it speaks volumes of our culture and heritage while accurately showcasing Latin Americans living in the United States. I remember watching her on TV in Univision as a kid and feeling the tragedy as if it were the year it occurred. I was born in 1998, after Selena’s death, still no different than 1995 she was still honored and celebrated for her life, achievements, and contributions.
