Growing up in a predominantly white suburb of Southern California, I started to find myself through Selena. That was, until, after her death. I was bullied for writing a poem about her in my journal, by my white Mexican friends! I never kept a journal since. Thank you for helping me find my pride for Selena again through your podcast!

I stumbled across this podcast out of nowhere and the artwork caught my eye. I loved every episode and the story telling. I loved how you connected Selena to the latinx experiences here in the US even now in 2020. The fact that each episode is also in Spanish was awesome! Loved it! Hope we get more and more episodes
