“Late to the party but am enjoying this SO much. The narrator & storytellers are so relatable. Maria & her team do a fantastic job of showing the cultural & historical impact Selena made in her short life, and the historical & cultural influences surrounding Selena & many Mexican Americans’ experiences (varied as they are and perhaps akin to other minority or immigrant experiences) in the US and elsewhere. IF you’re looking for salacious drama (see negative comments), look elsewhere. Very clearly these women are here to give you a beautiful love letter to Selena’s life & the many ways her legacy lives on. Bravo.”
