>Great< Content but lack of Pace, Chemistry, and Presence disengages me
I have been an avid AI reader (by RSS) for years. I was very excited when they started a podcast. I’ve listened to every episode (currently 21), and continue to beg for an early ending in each episode. In service to the hosts (and not just to complain): you have negligible chemistry with each other (frequently someone will diatribe and setup, and the person who accepts the handoff delivers a flat “ok then” or something equally draining). My example also speaks to the lack of presence: it’s obvious that 2/3 of the show is distracted while other people are talking. Without energy to drive the show, I’m wanting for more structure to drive the pace, and I’m not getting that either. It could be the show just isn’t for me, and I love the hosts and continue to read their articles on AI, but I’m going to rotate this one OUT of my podcast lineup for a while.

I have enjoyed complementing my Tech knowledge by viewing AI’s website. Now I rest my eyes and enjoy the podcast. It’s refreshing to hear trusted opinions amongst all the noise coming from Wall Street factorys being directed by their self-serving guardians.

On guy, Shane I think, seems to move away from his mike as the show goes on making his voice sound super low while the others are ok. Just makes it...Read full review »
