No fake drama or mystery; Ed’s the real deal.
Because I have enjoyed Professor Barnhart‘s audio lecture series on the Americas (Meso, North and South ), you can imagine my excitement to learn of his new podcast. Not surprisingly , they are terrific. You get his immense knowledge, quirky & entertaining delivery peppered with his passion for teaching and preserving ancient sites and cultural heritage. Easily absorbable but expansive summaries allows one to learn, in about thirty minutes, the basics of an culture’s history as it is currently known today through archaeology and discussions with present day descendants. I eagerly await each new episode. J.Williams

I have thoroughly enjoyed Dr. Barnhart’s Great Courses and now thrilled to enjoy these podcasts! He is knowledgeable, entertaining and makes what could be a dull history lesson come alive and meaningful for today’s world! Thank you so much!

Ed truly covers the pre-history subjects that my early education did not cover. A delightful companion to his Great Courses sessions "Ancient Civilizations of North America" - always informative.Read full review »
