“I really enjoy this podcast, the hosts definitely understand how to keep your attention and do a fantastic job of breaking down the episodes. They have good notes about the character motivations and provide a higher level of detail to the different kids in the midnight society, which you wouldn’t usually expect. They cut in clips from the shows which are great for providing context when they are explaining what events are happening. The hosts aren’t afraid to poke a little fun at the concepts and dialogue explored through each story which provides some comic relief. The only negative I’d have to say is that there isn’t a consistent schedule for the show, most times a month or two passes between episodes which results in the hosts re-iterating they will try to maintain a better schedule. So if you’re looking for a weekly AYAOTD fix, there are other podcasts covering the show that produce more consistent content. I will say that the inconsistent schedule always means when I see a new episode show up in my feed, it makes me prioritize the show since it’s been so long since I’ve heard from our hosts.”
