“I listen to their podcasts most days, something they both describe as ‘stealing’ as they give away their podcast content for free, because as they say “we’re stupid!”
I say amusing because if you listen long enough, some of their one liners will elicit a full on belly laugh and some of the stuff Jack say’s is politically incorrect, but hilarious.
The reason for the three stars, simple because of Joe’s insistence that both D and R are exactly the same with minor exceptions.
Their political analysis is often way wrong! When they focus on different aspects of politics going in destructive directions, they both often assert that all Americans are responsible.
They believe we (R’s and D’s) are all good Americans, but simply have a differing philosophies on the best path to achieve a better country for future generations.
The freedom quotes of the day, make you think! The weekly shower thoughts are ponderous. The chatty check out theatre is often on point. Some of their guests are awesome like Craig Gottswald the Health Care Guru. But their reliance on Wa-Po and NYT reporters is annoying.
The worst thing is the devils advocate questions, which hit the ground like lead balloons, the vapid pretense of a virtual shoulder shrug, we don’t see what’s going on, like Sargent Shultz.
All in all, because of their light handed approach to the topics of the day and mostly entertaining style, I subscribe to their ‘free’ podcasts. I’m often listening while I’m doing chores around the house, but do so many eye-rolls, it up’s my calorie burn for the day!
