Always something to think about
I think there are several factors that keep me coming back to listen to Art for All: 1. Incredible production value. The crumpling noises that broke up the chapters in the episode about paper really caught my ear and I’ve noticed that it only got better after that. 2. Thought-provoking consideration of topics relevant to everyone with a creative habit. I’ve been thinking about using labels and whether I can call myself an artist for weeks now, as well as wondering what it would take to make me a more generous artist (hence this review of someone else’s work ;) ). 3. Each episode is Full Danny: encouraging but a little demanding, i.e. do it for you but you deserve your best so do it with passion, inquisitiveness, and drive. I think this is the most important aspect for me. There are plenty of cheerleaders, and plenty of people who want to share technical skills, but this podcast will encourage you to go out and learn and practice something your own way.

It’s wonderful to have these gentle proddings to keep on going. When I feel like packing it in, I hear Danny’s thought provoking witterings popping into my brain.

Sketchbook Skool and all the instructors are the most supportive creative group I have found for drawing and being brave in one’s own sketchbook and creative life. Bravo! I am so happy you are back on-line!
