My Favorite Art Podcast!
By far, Art Slice is my favorite way to learn about art history. I appreciate the way that Stephanie and Russell approach the art and artists featured using narrative introductions, formal analysis and fun add-ins like the ArtSlice Pantry. They keep it light and personal, making it perfect for anyone! As someone who makes art as a hobby and as a job, I enjoy that they present well-known artists along with those who are a bit off the beaten path of the traditional art history canon. The variety is great. I quickly went through their current content and am excited for more! But remember, your kid couldn’t have made that.

After one episode I was HOOKED! So many art history podcasts are so boring but these two hosts really bring the work to life while painting a historical and contemporary understanding and back drop for the artwork(s). I can’t wait for more! Cannot recommend enough!

This is a great show with a good balance of information and witty humour, and makes learning art history a bit less dry than usual. These are the kind of people I’d want to have a drink with after visiting an art gallery!
