Truely Artistic
Troy Ramos' podcast, Arthouse Radio, is perfectly named. That's exactly what it feels like. Each episode is in itself a work of art; a sound collage; an installation of tonality mixed with thought. When an episode downloads, I never know if it's going to be an interview, a philosophical/spiritual inquiry, or just a series of ambient sounds as pedestrian as one man's bicycle ride to work, passing busses and cars and people on the sidewalk. What shines through each installment, however, is his sincerity. His earnestness. And how seriously Troy takes his commitment to bringing his listeners something fresh and new each week. I appreciate his hard work and I enjoy listening to it.

ArtHouse Radio is the kind of podcast that drives me a little crazy because I listen to podcasts while driving and I want to take notes every 5 minutes listening to the conversations. Give it a try if you like smart takes on art.
