Rubie was forced into marriage as a child and openly talks about her personal story. Where she was then, and where she is now in her life 💫 Rubie has worked hard to advocate against child marriages, and works with various charities like Karma Nivarna, to prevent abuse. The new law stopping forced child marriages in the UK, came into place last month in February 2023, with the legal age rising to 18. Why did this not happen earlier? How can we protect children and our future children? Rubie talks about the charities she is an ambassador for, and signposts to where you can receive advice. Rubie is also an International pageant queen! And talks about the benefit pageants had on her life, whilst she was rebuilding her confidence and life back together ✨
