“I listened to these podcasts on my walks. They are a treasure and I hope WBGO can leave them up. With David’s passing, they have become even more precious - especially the conversation with Sonny Rollins which was a privilege to listen to. I was a big metal fan back in the early 80’s in high school, but one random day I caught “Hideaway” from Straight to the Heart being played on the radio. That’s when CDs were just coming out and I think it was the second CD I ever bought. R.I.P. David, Don Grolnick, and Hiram Bullock.”
