As first generation Chinese here in the States, the stories have covered so many experiences in my life. Thank you for exploring the Asian diaspora and prominent voices of the community. I’ve recommended this podcast to all my Asian and non-Asian friends AND started subscribing to the LA Times again after leaving the Southland in 1988. Keep up the great work and looking for future episodes ! Edit Spring 2021: I hope this podcast starts up again especially during these times. One year has past and once again our community is haunted / hunted / targeted by the ugliness of “Scapegoats”.

Listening to the guests is like taking to my sister if we talked about being Asian instead of the weird things our mom does. Which may constitute talking about being Asian. Also—greatest Asian athlete and you didn’t name tiger woods? I mean, I hate golf, but come on!!
