“I don’t doubt Maria has tremendous matchmaking skills and success. When it comes to what dating experts say, it’s more so chew the meat and spit out the bones. Not everything applies to everyone.
At time when interviewing guests she interrupts and brings herself into the equation a lot…talking about her POV which can be helpful at times, but takes away from the subject the guest is speaking about. She did at one point get into it about her mom being sick which would have nothing to do with the topic, but clearly was emotional about it.
A person asked a question one episode of where to meet rich men. This is certainly not Marias expertise, the listener is better off listening to someone like Patti Stanger about where to meet rich men. Maria didn’t give her a clear cut answer with methods or a plan per say in meeting rich men. Then again it isn’t her expertise. She just said go where they are, but there’s more to it than that per Pattis advice if you want to look that up.
I don’t agree with taking what you get when it comes to dating. If you have a list that goes to the floor and standards that go through the roof- GOOD! Keep them high and work on yourself and it’s possible to meet a rich, lovable, honest, 6 foot tall man who will love you. Maria gives off the impression that these are tall orders and that one should be more realistic, when in reality the skies the limit to what you want.”
