Condescending
This podcast has great potential, but I have to agree with other reviews. Listening to the host question a guest on majoring in “the Bible” vs. “theology” during her intro is cringeworthy. Its HER intro, HER life and HER truth. If you’ve never heard of that, let her finish and maybe circle back later to clarify, but honestly that point wasn’t integral in her story, felt like the host just wanted to be “right”. This is one example, but I cringe each time I hear this attitude from the host and I’m turned off enough to unsubscribe. Hope this feedback is received constructively.

I love Maria! She’s fun to listen to, and her advice rings so true.

Generally enjoy this podcast, the guests and the info within it but why does Maria keep interrupting her guests? It’s really been grating on me lately. She’s on every week, but her guests have a wealth of info that feels minimized with Maria’s interjections : (

Maria is like no other- 4th generation matchmaker, warm, smart, very good at matching folks…but she’s also HILARIOUS and progressive and talks about equity and loves elevating queer love. She knows love and dating better than almost everyone and brings on the BEST folks to get into it. SO GOOD.
