Mats Larsson has spent the past 18 years exploring the amount of resources that will be needed to change transport systems to electric vehicles on a large scale. He has come to the conclusion that very large investments will be needed in power generation, grid capacity, charging infrastructure, and not least in the training of individuals to take on the various roles that will be needed through the transformation. Entirely new roles as electromobility strategists and architects will become necessary, but large numbers of electricians, and workers in charging infrastructure production and other areas will be needed as well.
