“This podcast provides a fantastic window into a fascinating world of human nature and to be honest is giving me an education as to the world around me that I should have had years ago. I’m really enjoying both the insights into events which are immediately relevant to today’s world (such as Max Hastings on the Cuban Missile Crisis) as well as other events completely new to me. I particularly like how Oliver asks the questions I’d like answered as a history “civilian”. His interviewees seem to like this as well - the sense of enjoyment is tangible from all concerned!
