Locke interviews all the museum workers, but of course things don't go smoothly. Afterwards, Curator shows Locke a replica of the artifact and explains the origins. A return note came with the replica as a way of disguising the original's disappearance. But no one is falling for it. Locke requests handwriting samples from all of the employees and then visits an old friend of the force, Felix Burner. Can Burner find a match? Can the case be solved so easily? Probably not.
