“I'm not into modern CGI-jerk-off movies. I find them toothless, soulless and pointless. They don't dare to take any chances, terrified they might loose anybody from the huge audience they need to make back their ridiculous budgets. There is no passion, no fun, no real storytelling nor exciting filmmaking in most of these films. To me they feel much more like watching someone else play a boring video game, than having a true movie experience yourself.
So I much prefer B-movies, made by daring filmmakers who are willing to take risks, offend people, disgust people, hurt people and turn-off most normal audiences. Therefor I really appreciate reviewers like the guys in "Attack of the Killer Kast" who dedicate their show to these kind of films.
It's obvious that they really care about the movies they talk about. They do very thorough reviews of the films they pick for their show. The pocast is both entertaining and informative, so I recommend fans of alternative cinema to give these guys a listen.”
