Great Surface Level Podcast
I was really excited about this podcast when it first came out but as someone who also follows the NWSL news on social media in addition to listening to this, I feel like I don’t get anything extra out of the podcast—it just feels like a repeat of news that I’ve already heard/seen and the analysis is usually pretty surface level/seems pretty safe. I definitely want to build up women’s soccer and I think this podcast could be a great mechanism for doing so but it doesn’t seem that great for people who are hardcore fans. Perhaps Lisa also talks about whether male athletes have recently become parents when she talks about them but if she doesn’t, this was a bad take.

Besides donating to NWSLPA, what else can fans do to support the players at this time? Thank you!

Enjoy listening and learning more about WNSL. I don’t know much about the game but wonder: Why does Racing Lou seem to struggle to score goals? They seem to have good players who try hard.
