Julie Ertz
Hi! Love you two! I listen/watch you both all the time. I have a question, really thought. Ertz has been out for a while now and we all know she was injured last summer but played during the Olympics. And she’s been on the road of recovery since then. Now we learn she probably won’t play this year. My thinking is…she’s pregnant. Julie has been one of the players who is pretty quiet/private about their lives outside of soccer. She’s never been one to post a lot of her life or talk about it in interviews. I can totally see her and Zach using her recovery time to start a family. She is one of those players that even after a baby and not playing for a while, I think that will still get called up as a back because honestly she is one of a kind. So…..am I crazy or is this truly an injury that was either more serious than we knew?

Sandra and Lisa are dynamic hosts, they do a great job covering the league. Question: How does NWSL compare to other women’s leagues around the world in terms of competition, skill, style? Thank you!

Lisa and Sandra bring great energy and insightful commentary to NWSL coverage without trying to be edgy like so many other sports commentators. Question: how many more mediocre white male coaches must this league suffer or are those days finally behind us?

Love this podcast! Thanks so much Sandra and Lisa for your commentary and insight. Would love to sit down and watch a match with either of these two ladies! Question - could you discuss the details of allocations and also the draft system or point out a resource to explain how these work?
