“Enjoy so many things about this podcast!
1.) John’s prayer at the end of each chapter. Regardless of how insignificant a passage may seem, during the prayer he discusses what we learned from that passage and asks/thanks God for how it applies to our daily life.
2,) easy to understand version
3.) consecutive reading. When I’ve tried to read the Old Testament myself it’s easy to skip over long drawn out passages about lineage with names I can’t pronounce and long drawn out details explaining the material used to build this or that... however the relevance John is able to tie in at the end of each passage shows me that those chapters are important, they’re in the Bible for a reason.
