“Listened to a few episodes of this podcast and didn’t really find anything new to take away and apply it in my own life.
The conversations were just that, conversations with various people who have achieved FI without much discussion about the journey there or any real strategies that could be applied. I’m unsure why this is called Aussie when there have been US and UK guests on the podcast which would have different financial experiences not applicable to Australian finances.
Talking about guests, the fact that there is an episode with queenie, who is an outright fraud, seriously made me reconsider this podcast. It seems the interviewer will just chat to whoever is willing including people who could barely finish school due to their drug use who then found a successful partner to use to gain credibility as a “financial guru” to be able to defraud others through affiliate programs and MLM marketing.
