The word of God is preached so that we may benefit from it in one way or another, gaining spiritual insights, knowledge and wisdom that will enrich and profit our soul. Hebrews 4:2 tells us that if we only hear the word of God, but do not mix it with faith, it will be of no benefit to us. You see when we put our faith into action, mixed with the word, and partner with God, changes will start to take place, some might be incremental, and some might be big! When you believe in your heart (Luke 8:48), that God will heal you, apply every word of God to your life and your circumstances, mixing and blending it with your faith, and see what God will do.
