He draws on research from the BBC’s Great British Class Survey and the public reaction to its findings. Mike Savage is professor of sociology at LSE. Beverley Skeggs is head of the Department of Sociology at Goldsmiths, London. She is soon to be an ESRC professorial fellow working on A Sociology of Value and Values.
